Patrick Willis bought a 5 million dollar home, and it was a huge difference from his double wide trailer. He and his siblings were constantly abused by their father. Patrick excelled in sports like basketball and football. When Patrick was 8 years old, he picked up a full time job in the cotton fields. His dad would often take his earned money for drugs such as weed and alcohol. Patrick was a line backer at Central High School, and won multiple awards with sports. However, this abuse continued until Patrick contacted his guidance teachers at his high school. Child Protection Service took the children away from Patrick's father, and they were taken in by Patrick's basketball coach. For Patrick this way his chance to be a kid again, since he never experienced having to support his family. When he graduated high school, he was taken by a university. He started all 13 games of his freshmen year.
